Check out the article from CNNMoney.com about a couple from Chesapeake, VA who have built a modest but growing real estate portfolio. It's worth mentioning Mr. Godwin is a police officer, a profession right up there with teachers and nurses in terms of under-appreciation and under-compensation. But with smart decisions and thorough research, the Godwins are steadily expanding their real estate holdings in impressive fashion. I always enjoy stories about 'regular people' that I can identify with who are succeeding in real estate. It gives me hope. Congratulations to the Godwins.
